摘要：This thesis is entitled The Translation of Implicit Meaning of English PersonalPronouns Into Indonesia : A Situational Analysis. The object of the analyses aresentences containing implicit meaning in the novel âGosh Girlâ andIndonesian version âJadied; Tangisan Tanpa Suara. The sentences withimplicit meanings are taken as data, and analyzed using descriptive andcomparative methods. The writer only took 161 good data from the novel. Theaims of this thesis is to understand student about translation the implicitmeaning accuratelly. The result of this thesis shows that in translating implicitmeaning English personal pronouns into Indonesian should pay attention aboutEtiquette in society or target language, so that translator have to use threeparameters: age, familiarity and then social status.Â
