摘要：ABSTRACT :The problem of this research is every human being has moral which influencestheir attitudes and behavior. And it could be seen from the characters of Pip andEstella, because of a woman and wealth becomes one ambition, their goodnessof character changed. The aims of this research are to describe moral values ofPip and Estella in Great Expectations of Charles Dickens. In writing this thesis,the writer used a qualitative method. The data is in the form of quotations andsentences related to moral values. The source of data is the novel GreatExpectations written by Charles Dickens. The result shows that there are goodand bad moral as an individual and social moral values, it could be seen fromthe characters of Pip and Estella which are reflected through their attitudes andbehavior. The moral values that the writer found in Great Expectations are:Pips good and bad moral as individual moral values include altruism, ambition,guilt and arrogant, dishonesty, self-conscious, phony. Pips good and bad moralas social moral values include educational improvement, friendship, love andsocial self-improvement. Estellas good and bad moral as individual moralvalues include honest, self-improvement and ambition, cruelty, hateful, phony.Estellas good and bad moral values as a social moral include love, maturity offriendship and humiliate This novel gave us lessons that moral are lessonstaught by exhibiting goodness or correctness of attitudes and behavior. Ifsomeone could influence their attitudes, they would get good moral andotherwise if they had lost control, they would get bad moral
