Then oneof his businesses is by implementing the optimal sales, with the company's saleswould be guaranteed if the function is achieved can be executed well. Therefore,with scientific writing is needed to determine how much is forecasting sales ofsafety equipment (safety) for the month of August 2008 at PT. TONAIDO INTIPURNAMA by using sales data April2007 months until July 2008. Then, afterthe authors do the calculated cumulative average method, Moving Average 3months, and 5-month Moving Average method. So who has the biggest salesforecast is extinguished cumulative average method with the results of Rp.302900 687, - with MAPE 129.6. And who has smaller prediction errors of theMoving method Average five months with the forecast results Rp.2 09.2614million, - with MAPE 74.7%
