摘要：Nowadays in literature it can be found many kinds of stories in form of shortstories or novel, a novel will take time to read, it depends on how thick thatnovel is. Novel also gives complex and challenging stories for the readers,theme that novel offer also have different kinds, starting from adventure, horror,even romance. From different kinds of novel the writer chooses one book tomake a book report, the writer choose a detective novel Sherlock Holmes :The Sign of Four by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This novel is different from anyother novel, the author have a unique style to tell the stories. He uses the firstperson non participant point of view on this book. Because of this problem andunique style in writing the writer want to make a book report from Sir ArthurConan Doyle novel Sherlock Holmes : The Sign of Four and share someinformation about this novel to the other reader to make other reader get moreunderstand about the stories on this novel.
