  • 摘要:ABSTRACT :Building design of railway traffic controller based on micro controller is asystem designed to monitor train that pass through crossbar train controlled bythe IC controller. The advantage of this system is to detect a train going in andout of crossbar train area as a sign when trains entered area of infrared sensorso that the counter starts counting down from 120 seconds. This system usesfour infrared sensors and resulted output will turn on stepper motor. When thefirst sensor and third sensor is blocked by a train, the crossbar train willautomatically closed. When the second sensor and fourth sensors is blockedagain then the crossbar train will also automatically closed. We add sevensegments displayed in front of crossbar train to determine delivery time of train.Seven-segments system will be operated by infrared sensors as well. Crossbartrain is a security device that works if there is one or two trains crossing thehighway. In essence, the working of this tool is to ease a train guard. A guardwill be notified if trains will pass and will manually close the crossbar train bypressing latch button when the train has passed. Motion detector is using amicro controller AT89C52, that detects movements with an infrared sensorsystem. This means that working system detects a movement across atransmitter transducer and receiver transducer placed parallel in the circuit.Working principle of this tool is to emit infrared waves of an object fromtransmitter transducer and reflected back to receiver transducer. If there is amoving object detected, the intensity of infrared wave will be changed andconverted into an electrical voltage so that it can switch on the stepper motor oncrossbar train. Based on testing, this tool can detect movement with a maximumdistance of 1660 m (1.66 km) and wide detection angle of 180°. This tool can beused as a motion detector on crossbar train. Sensor used is a photo diode IC74LS244 to provide input of 0 or 1 to AT89C52, so that programs will provideoutputs to turn on motor stepper.
