摘要:SMART HOME AUTOMATION REPLICAWITH WEATHER CONDITIONS BASED ON THEROOF AT89S51 MICROCONTROLLER Abdul Barr Un-dergraduate Program, Faculty of Computer Science, 2008Gunadarma University http://gunadarma.ac.id Keywords:weather, rain, roof automation, AT89S51 Abstract This re-search is intended to make a smart home concept that isable to respond to changes in weather, especially rain. Thissmart home using 3 sensors that complement each other.The sensor used is a temperature sensor (LM35DT), lightsensor (LDR), and a conductivity sensor which is sensitiveto water, which all inputannya associated with microcon-troller AT89S51. This concept will be reading the weatherconditions in the surrounding uses sensors had. Outputfrom these sensors will be input for AT89S51 microcon-troller which will process the information obtained in ac-cordance with the program. The result of processing in-formation by the microcontroller AT89S51 will determinethe inputs that go into the output of this concept of auto-matic roof that is controlled by a motor driver L293D. Ifthe incoming information is information about the condi-tion of rain, the roof will be closed automatically, so thatwill secure anything on underneath. Automatic roof will beopen again if the information is captured by the sensors isinformation about the condition of no rain. In the eventof a rainy conditions with a special or unusual case, thenthe concept is provided by conductivity sensors which aresensitive to water, so the roof will soon be shut down auto-matically if the sensors are exposed to water and will ignorethe information that goes into the 2 pieces of other sensors.The sensor is also used as a last safety of rainy conditions.
