摘要:We present a classroom task that consists to model the path of the road between two paraboloid surfaces. The purpose of this paper is to teach the differential calculus using mathematical modeling as a teaching tool. The context of the engineering design of a highway serves as a vehicle for teaching and learning the mathematical contents necessary for driving the task.
