摘要：This paper, which follows a former one in Emerita 68, 2000, pp.1-18, collects and studies the Greek toponymy of Southern and Mediterranean Spain: its origin, dialectal character and chronology. This toponymy offers an insight on the knowledge of this area by the Greeks. Frequently it translates or hellenizes indigenous or Phoenician names. It can be said that the Greek toponymy is one of the witnesses at our disposal for achieving a better understanding of the role the greeks played in Iberia.
