摘要：The lead books of the Sacromonte constitute a bold example of intellectual resistance and an attempt to influence Christian thought made by the Morisco community of Granada. Bearing in mind both the pseudoprophetical discoveries in 16th Century Spain and the Islamic view about the history of religions, these texts, although Islamic, could be seen as acceptable both for Christians and Muslims, especially taking into account the Spanish translations of the Arabic texts. This attempt would end with the "Truth of the Gospel", identified here with the Gospel of Barnabas . This text, with many similarities to the lead books of Granada, presents an account of the life and preaching of Jesus from the Islamic point of view, i.e. before Christian distortions of the events.
