摘要：Este artículo busca presentarse sobre el papel del escritor en el género testimonial, a través del estudio de Ciudad Bolívar: la hoguera de las ilusiones, del colombiano Arturo Alape. Para conseguirlo se vale de una mirada a la genealogía del género, así como a sus dificultades para encontrar una definición claramente delimitante. Después se centra en preguntas sobre la validez de conceptos míticos, generados por los estudios del testimonio, tales como los de representación y transcripción, a la luz del rol del letrado. Finalmente, plantea la importancia del estudio del aparato paratextual a la hora de acercarse a estudiar una obra testimonial.
其他摘要：The objective ofthis article is to ask about the role ofthe writer in the testimonial gender, through 'the study of Ciudad Bolívar: la hoguera de las ilusiones, of the colombian writer Arturo Alape. To achieve this objective, first it is valid to look at the genealogy ofthe gender, as well as its difficulties to find a definition clearly framing. Next, it focuses on questions about the veracity of the mythic concepts, originated from the testimony studies, such as the ones of representation and transcription, under the role ofthe literate. Finally, it states the importance ofthe study ofthe paratextual apparatus when approaching the study of a testimonial work.
