摘要:En este artículo se presentan los resultados de un estudio descriptivo transversal realizado para evaluar el desarrollo de la estrategia Escuelas Saludables en 15 instituciones educativas de básica primaria de Villavicencio durante el 2006 y el 2007. La población estuvo conformada por el 100% de docentes, administrativos y los padres de familia que voluntariamente quisieron participar. La muestra de los estudiantes fue probabilistica estratificada, por asignación óptima o de Neyman, con un 95% de confiabilidad y un error máximo admisible de 1,75%, de lo cual resultó un tamaño de muestra de 1.710 estudiantes. Se aplicaron instrumentos de evaluación de proceso a través del plan de acción, la guía de observación y la evaluación de resultados. Los porcentajes encontrados fueron de bajo, medio y alto de desarrollo. En la evaluación de resultados el desarrollo de los ejes de la estrategia Escuela Saludable obtuvo una calificación promedio de: medio ambiente escolar: 46,8%, bajo; información y comunicación en salud: 30%, bajo; políticas saludables en el ámbito escolar: 30,25%, bajo; participación social y comunitaria: 30,38%, bajo, y servicios de seguridad social en salud: 33,85%, bajo. El promedio del total fue de 41,78%, bajo, que muestra una debilidad general en el desarrollo de la estrategia. Los porcentajes entre 72,6% y 76,4% fueron calificados como mediano desarrollo y correspondieron a instituciones que ejecutaron proyectos concretos. Los porcentajes entre 10,1% y 29,33%, calificados como bajo desarrollo, correspondieron a aquellas instituciones que no diseñaron un plan de acción. AbstractThe study on Evaluation of the Strategy Health Schools was conducted in the municipality of Villavicencio, in the period between 2006 and 2007 whose aim was to assess the development of the strategy in 15 educational institutions in basic base. The methodology proposed includes a type design descriptive, transverse and intervention, the population was formed by 100% of teachers and administrative, and parents who voluntarily want to participate. The sample of students are conducted through the design probabilistic laminated for optimal allocation or with a 95% of reliability and an error maximum allowable. 1.75%, proving to be a sample size of 1,710 stidents. For the collection of information were applied assessment instruments of process through the Plan of Action, the Guide to Monitoring and Evaluation of Results. This evaluative study shows the development of the axles of the strategy healthy school, with an average: School environment: 46.8%, under development; information and communication in health: 30%, under development policies; healthy in the school: 30.25%m under developmnet; social and community participation: 30.38%, under development, and social security services in health: 33.85%, under development. The average total was 41.78%, under development, showing a general weakness in the development, showing a general weakness in the development of the strategy. The highest percentages between 72.6% and 76.4% qualified as medium development, corresponded to institutions that executed specific projects. The lower percentages are among the 10.1% and 29.33%, quilified as under development corresponded to those institutions that are not designed a Plan of Action.↓Este artigo apresenta um estudo de avaliação das escolas donde se aplicou a estratégia de Escolas Saudáveis. Foi feito na municipalidade de Villavicencio, cujo objetivo era avaliar o desenvolvimento da estratégia em 15 instituições de ensino básico. A metodologia inclui um projeto do tipo descritivo transversal e de intervenção. A população foi conformada pelos 100% de professores e de pessoal administrativo, e os pais que voluntàriamente desejaram participar. A amostra dos estudantes foi probabilístico por estratos, segundo Neyman, com um p<0,05, tamanho da amostra de 1.710 estudantes. Para coletar a informação usam-se os instrumentos da avaliação do processo com o plano de ação, a guia de observação e avaliação de resultados. Este estudo avaliativo mostra o desenvolvimento dos eixos da escola saudável, que obteve as seguintes médias da qualificação: ambiente da escola: 46,8%, baixo; informação e comunicação na saúde: 30%, baixo; políticas saudáveis no entorno da escola: 30,25%, baixo; participação social: 30,38%, baixo, e serviços da segurança social na saúde: 33,85%, baixo. A média do total era de 41,78%, (baixo), que mostra uma fraqueza geral no desenvolvimento da stratégia. A porcentagem a mais elevada entre 72,6% e 76,4%, desenvolvimento médio, corresponde às instituições que executaram projetos concretos. A porcentagem baixa está entre 10,1% e 29,33%, descrito como desenvolvimento, correspondeu a aquelas instituições que não projetaram um plano de ação.
