摘要：Reviewing the pottery corpus from the Early Neolithic of the Basque-Riojan region, an evolution in style can be observed: afirst phase with undecorated and incised ceramics, followed one with impressed ceramics and a last phase in which the most significant techniques are cardial and boquique. Radiocarbon dating results date the earliest phase at the end of the eighth millennium BP, the second One at the middle of the seventh and the last phase by the last third of this millennium. These data force us to reopen the discussion about the role of pottery and "neolithic contexts".
