摘要：Applying methodological principles inspired by the Archaeology of Architecture, the architectural sequence of the Iron Age site of Cancho Roano (Zalamea de la Serena, Spain) is analyzed. The layout of the main entrances and their determination by factors such as axiality, frontality or directionality, and the degree of accessibility to the main rooms are emphasized. A linear and evolutionary process is detected that is interpreted in terms of symbolic privatization of this idiosyncratic space. This process is attributed to ideological transformations related to the political function of the site.
