摘要：This qualitative study aimed to investigate the research groups that focus on leisure management in Brazil. A documentary research was developed in the databases of the Directory of Research Groups - CNPq - Plataforma Lattes. The results evidenced 12 groups in different Brazilian regions, predominantly in South region and in Tourism field. The same region also concentrates the largest production of complete articles; however, the field of Production Engineering leads the number of specific researches on leisure management. It is suggested further initiatives in order to implement and efficiently cataloging and disseminating academic information about leisure management. Keywords: leisure, management, research.
