  • 摘要:The aim of this study, which involves life story was to analyze the outstanding moments of teaching trajectory of Physical Educators. Four Physical Education teachers, who have been teaching at public schools in Santa Catarina State for more than 25 years, took part in this investigation. In addition to documental analysis, semi-structured interviews were used to collect data from Physical Education teachers and their co-workers. Content analysis technique was utilized in data analysis. Extra classroom activities (sports tournaments, choreographic performances at commemorative dates, administrative positions) were pointed out among the best moments of teaching career, while the worst events were based on work conditions, dissatisfaction with educational policies and deceptions with the teaching working class. Although the outstanding events had been experienced individually, teachers revealed to experience many similar episodes at school daily routine, which allowed for a greater comprehension of the Physical Education teaching career.
