摘要:Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) is related with the support of learning environments by computational tools. The CoWeb is a hypermedia tool that supports collaborative authoring of web pages. After presenting an overview of CSCL tools that support collaborative editing and a study about the characteristics and limitations of the CoWeb, this paper contributes with a definition of requirements for collaborative authoring tools applied to educational domains. CoWeb’s characteristics of simplicity, open collaborative authoring of freely structured pages and data persistence are used as a starting point to a thorough analysis of its support to one graduate and two undergraduate courses. The requirements gathered should comprise the basis for the design of a new CoWeb version.
