  • 摘要:This paper presents the results of a pedagogical evaluation of a music education software named STR (Sistema de Treinamento Rítmico – Laboratório de Computação e Música - UFRGS). For evaluation purposes the software was used and rated by students. The main objective was to check if the program could be used as an auxiliary resource to study rhythm in performance, composition and development of musical technique. Different possibilities of use in classroom and the interaction among the students were also surveyed. The conclusion was that some computational aspects need to be reformulated, although their musical-pedagogic conception has been suitably deployed.
