  • 标题:Redes Eletrônicas no Ensino de Ciências: Avaliação Pedagógica do Projeto Ecologia em São Caetano do Sul

  • 摘要:The present study aims at investigating pedagogical advances in the teaching/learning process in three schools in São Caetano do Sul which use electronic nets (Internet) in science teaching, specifically the “Ecology Project” from “Escola do Futuro” (São Paulo University). The project brings a new vision of curriculum in which the collaborative environment is based on the interaction of school subjects, was evaluated from the students, teachers and administrators’ interpretation, based on qualitative research which is, historically, linked to the interpretation of environments. The study tried, principally, to contribute in the teaching/learning process, pointing out new methodology actions to the teachers’ pedagogical work in the school context and, also, signaling some forms of organization and operationalization for future projects which might use electronic nets in teaching. The results showed that the use of eletronic nets, as a new way of interaction in the teaching process, enlarges the action of communication between the teacher and the student and it also broaden the educational and cultural interchange. We could verify in the data a more open and closer relationship between the teacher and the student. From the participants’ point of view, the way of learning was described as more sharing, involving, interactive and cooperative one. We also noticed, in the relationship between the stundent and the school, that there was a bigger involvement and the teachers’ attitude could be translated as of a partnet, more open, more participating, more involved and interested, and the students showed a more interested, dynamic and critical attitude. The participants faced some dificulties: in the technical field, the lack of computers and others resources; in the metodological field they faced the setting of multi-subject work and making the teachers capable of using the net and, yet, the teachers’ discredit about the use of the nets in the pedagogical work. The results still show that the art of educating is breaking bounds, removing the schools from isolation, making the students’ learning process faster, and so education is gaining a collective profile and is becoming everybody’s duty. The use of the nets makes us believe in a qualitative dimension of teaching. Through this dimension the educative act is turned to a more global vision in which the teaching/learning process gets interactive feature, gets more fexible, diversified, cooperative, multi-directional and with a better interaction between the school subjects.
