摘要:Abstract Projects exist in every sector of the economy, including manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government. Project Scheduling is a complex activity, largely due to multiple activities, that compete for limited resources. Current research has classified the various resource constrained project scheduling methods. In practice, however, commonly used tools are cumbersome to handle resource constraints, and multi-projects requirements. Moreover, there is a gap between reported research and practice in the area of project scheduling. Within this context, the objective of this paper is to present a new approach based on event-driven simulation to solve large real-life project scheduling problems with resource constrained. This approach is dynamic in nature and is suitable for deterministic and stochastic resource requirements. It can schedule multiple project activities simultaneously. The goal of the proposed method is not to find a single “best” solution, but to recommend a set of “good” feasible solutions.
