摘要:Abstract In many areas, energy management is becoming increasingly important. By improving energy efficiency, resources and the environment can be conserved. In many multivariate systems, the number of actuating signals is greater than the controlled signals. This degree of freedom can be used to optimize energy consumption. In this paper, the design of a new supervisory controller is presented. The idea is to tune the set points on-line in order to increase efficiency. This new approach is called economic performance indicator based optimization. The proposed optimization algorithm is tested on the air separation compressor trains and is shown to work effectively by decreasing the energy needs.
