摘要:A comparative cross-sectional study was done on 197 medical students of interview group and 199 medical students of non- interview group to compare personality traits score between the two different selection methods to enter medical school. Personality traits were measured using a validated personality inventory which was the USMaP-i. A significant difference of mean personality traits’ score was found between the two groups. Medical students selected through interview had higher score in extroversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness and openness as well as lower score in neuroticism compared to non-interview group. This finding provides evidence on positive impacts of interview process on personality traits of future medical students.
