摘要：This research attempts to know the increasing of housing business in Sleman regency. This data intend to portrait the balances of housing business between one area and others, and also the balances of land use. Beside, this research attempt to know what factors is related to housing business development in Sleman. The result of this research show that the development of housing business in Sleman is ± 1500 house per year and most of them is the middle house (24.4%). The most favorite areas are Kecamatan Depok, Kecamatan Ngaglik, and Kecamatan Sleman. The most related factors related to increasing of housing business in Sleman are (i) location; (ii) the easily credit from financial institution; (iii) and price of the land. Based on the result of this research, there are seme recommendations as a follow up of this research. First, because most of the housing development focused on certain area, so to protect the area from the environment damage, the permit of housing development should be restricted.
