摘要：Psychology, among other areas, has being discussing changes that are happening in the family, especially in the last decades, having as a historical frame of reference the traditional family model, i.e., the family that is organized by the parent couple and children. We call "new family configurations" other ways in which people relate to each other and live together that necessarily ask for an enlargement of the term "family" as a consequence of contemporaneity. These are complex relationship standards that end up generating conflict situations among their members and an orphanhood feeling in children. By means of clinical cases’ reports we will discuss the relationships dynamics in these families in order to propose preventative measures to eliminate this feeling of parental abandonment.
