摘要：L’articolo analizza le trasformazioni e le persistenze della città di Sevilla tra l’VIII e il X secolo, al momento dell’arrivo di nuovi gruppi etnici e culturali. Si esamineranno le caratteristiche principali dell’insediamento per il periodo visigoto e arabo, come fortificazioni, viabilità, edifici ed aree funerarie. La scarsità di dati per questo periodo non permette di definire con maggiore precisione i diversi elementi della città e pertanto si riportano le ipotesi di ricostruzione elaborate negli ultimi anni. This article provides information about the transformations and the remains of Sevilla through the VIII and X centuries AD, when new cultural and ethnical groups arrived in Spain. The main characteristic (e.g. fortifications, road network, buildings and burials) of this settlement will be analysed both at the end of Visigoth kingdom and at the beginning of Islamic setting-down. The shortage of data for this period do not allow to define with more certainty the different elements of the city, despite of this, the latter hypothesis of reconstruction are reported here.
