摘要：Taking the publication of the second edition of Concha Roldan’s Entre Casandra y Clío as reference, this article analyses the philosophy of history from the perspectives of the past, the present and the future. First, the paper examines the current disciplinary crisis in an effort to define the philosophy of history at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Second, the article considers the historical dimension of the debated scientific nature of historical knowledge and includes the current implications of this controversy. Third, the essay explores the ways in which the philosophy of history can play an ethical function.
