摘要:This report examines the bone lesions found during CT investigations of mummies from the Dominican Church of the Holy Spirit in Vilnius, Lithuania. Observed pathological conditions include a single fracture, osteoarthritis, malpositions and dental disease, as well as some normal variants of the human skeleton. These palaeopathological data provide a clearer picture of the mummies’ osteobiographies, and serve as a reminder about the importance of noninvasive techniques for the investigation of historical preserved remains.
