Utiliza-se a fenomenologia hermenêutica, como metodologia. A revitalização buscou reinserir o bairro no cotidiano dos moradores do Grande Recife. O primeiro passo foi reinventar o lugar como local de eventos, para atrair visitantes. É a partir da leitura do fenômeno, que este trabalho busca descrever as várias mudanças ocorridas na ordenação do espaço estudado, apontando o que entendemos por acertos e falhas na execução do plano de revitalização. [Re]Ordination and Space Tourism: The Neighborhood Revitalization of Recife Antigo - This article seeks to understand the of the neighborhood revitalization of Recife Antigo, Recife, PE. The methodology used is hermeneutic phenomenology. The revitalization of Recife Antigo tried reinserting the area in daily lives of residents in the Grande Recife. The first part of the project was to reinvent the place as a venue to attract visitors. This paper is based on the reading of the phenomenon to describe the various changes in ordering this space, pointing out what we mean as successes and failures in the implementation of the revitalization plan .
