摘要：Literature review about theoretical and historical aspects of archival description, traditional finding aids and a next generation finding aids, which includes articles from journals published between the years 1993 and 2008. This new generation arises when an archival representation is published on internet using the possibilities of Web 2.0, a phenomenon that captures the moment when the user experience on the web is changed to a new level of interactivity, access and sociability.
