  • 摘要:Life quality can be influenced by a lot of factors, as professional attributes and working conditions. Considering that the teachers’ life quality can make a big influence on the student formation and on the quality of education, this study had as its aim to evaluate the professional profile and the level of life quality of the Physical Education teachers working on the Campo Grande - MS City Public School System. The sample was made up of 69 teachers, both sexes. The results showed that the majority of the teachers give more than 20 hours of classes and that the salary, the number of students per class and the working conditions are the main factors of dissatisfaction. The life quality was classified as “good” by 56.5%. Analysing the results by its domains, it could be seen that the physical and environmental are the most damaged aspects, showing respectively 58.75 and 60.64 points. It was concluded that, although the majority of the teachers consider their life quality good, the physical and environmental domains are damaged. Key-Words: Work. Public Teaching. School.
