摘要：We are happy to present to our readers the third number of the Journal of Interdisciplinary History of Ideas , enriched by new collaborations and by a welcome opening to the history of law. But, beyond the pride that goes with this result, and with our endurance, we also feel the necessity for us to get a wider perspective. We should like to be, in a good sense, ‘networkers’: to foster our Journal , our work, and the field of studies—interdisciplinary history of ideas—that we keep pro- moting; and for new collaborations to open up. So we are taking two new initiatives. We have been editing a collection of six contributions concerning the methods of interdisciplinary research in the history of ideas and intel- lectual history, as they are being or have been practiced in specific re- searches, wrien by young Italian scholars that have collaborated with our annual meetings on the methodology of interdisciplinary history of ideas and intellectual history. e contributions will shortly appear in a special issue of the journal History of European Ideas , under the title: ”In- terdisciplinarity and the History of Ideas”. And in the Fall 2013 we will launch a Call for Papers, for a special number of the JIHI on Erasmian heritage and the early modern sciences, to be published in 2014.
