摘要:Ethnoarchaeological studies on different populations have sought to understand territorial mobility. These studies have shown that populations normally chosen anthropogenic locations for occupation and re-occupation. In this paper we present data from our research alongside the Kaiabi, of the Kaiabi indigenous land (T.I. MT/PA), reflecting upon their perceptions of landscape and territory and upon the social, political, economic, and environmental causes of their mobility. We will show different significances of this mobility in terms of the continuity of Kaiabi territorial occupation. Keywords: Kaiabi indigenous land, territory, mobility.
