摘要：Envolta em um mundo de beleza, riqueza e aventura, a boneca Barbie está imersa em uma pedagogia cultural com o intuito de ensinar a supremacia de um tipo de corpo, raça e comportamento.O artigo tem como objetivo discutir as representações da boneca Barbie na cultura lúdica e o modo que ela tem afetado a construção das identidades infantis, especialmente em relação ao gênero e à diversidade cultural.Analisa-se o que estudos específicos têm revelado sobre as representações culturais da boneca.Para tanto, foram tomados como referencial os Estudos Culturais, tendo como marco teórico a abordagem Pós-Estruturalista de análise, tratando a boneca como um artefato cultural.Destacam-se seus efeitos produzidos na mídia e na configuração discursiva da infância.
其他摘要：Wrapped in a world of beauty, wealth and adventure, the Barbie doll is immersed in a cultural pedagogy in order to teach the supremacy of one body type, race and behavior.The article aims to discuss the representations of the Barbie doll in the play culture and the way it has affected the construction of identities for children, especially in relation to gender and cultural diversity.Analyzes the specific studies have revealed about the cultural representations of the doll.The following factors were taken as reference Cultural Studies, with the theoretical approach to Post-Structuralist analysis, treating the doll as a cultural artifact.Stand out on effects on the media and the discursive configuration of childhood.
