摘要:From the perspective of the existentialist philosopher Martin Heidegger's "Dasein", this paper is to explore the American avant-garde dramatist Maria Irene Fornes' masterpiece Fefu and Her Friends. It maintains that the characters in the play are not merely victims of the patriarchal society, but also a mirror to "Dasein", suffering from anxiety and searching for the authenticity of Being in the process of living-toward-death.Key words: Fornes; Heidegger; women; Dasein; death
