摘要：This article is a description of the Project for the Development of the Center of Psychological Attention (CAP) at the University of Santiago de Chile’s School of Psychology (EPUSACH). The time span is from 2001 to 2005 and the research looks into the bio-psycho-social components of health as well as public health indicators. The purpose of the project was, firstly, to link the Center’s mental health work, occurring in a higher education institution, to observe the national reality with an emphasis on exploring the significant role that the Center could play to bring about improvements in the mental health of their immediate surroundings. Secondly, the project briefly included the design of a service provision model to be included in the curriculum followed by EPUSACH’s clinical psychology students. The article also summarises some of the key data arising from CAP’s work during the period under analysis.
