摘要：This article intends to briefly describe three criminological constructions that somehow bring contributions to the analysis of the criminal phenomenon in its complexity, going beyond the contributions of Critical Criminology. Initially, it intend to analyze the proposals of Cultural Criminology, which, examined under the lens of the Brazilian scene, presents significant contributions to the study of the transgressor phenomenon in its complexity. Then, it will focus on the field of state crimes, which represent the point of difficult explanation by the postulations of Critical Criminology, in order to offer important issues brought by the essential notions of Transitional Justice. Finally, based on the Recognition Theory of Axel Honneth, it will be undertaken attempt to enhance on the material limitation of Critical Criminology, giving vent to understanding the complexities involving crime and its social representation.
