摘要:Food habits are constructed within the context of social relations among individuals. The present article aims at showing, through the case of Basque immigration in Barcelona, how food —eating— can be a factor in building group identity within a specific structure or identifications. The merits of this hypothesis are grounded in the study of Basque restaurants as well as gastronomic societies in Barcelona.
