摘要：Potential of media streaming technologies for its use in information broadcasting both in Internet and corporative intranets is presented. To achieve this a definition and statement of scope of media streaming technologies in broadcasting visual and audio information are carried on, both on demand and as direct broadcasting. The importance of technologies in the documentation departments is highlighted as a means of broadcasting among both internal and external users as an economic added value for the enterprise. We will also outline the main lines of evolution of these technologies in combination with XML for the management of audiovisual contents guided by standards.
